Accessibility Statement

Effective date: September 23, 2026

Spectra Therapy is committed to making our online content usable by people with disabilities. This policy covers our product-information website built on Wix and our online store and checkout hosted on Shopify. We sell and ship only to residents of the United States.

1. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • Product descriptions, education pages, and company information on our Wix site: spectra-therapy.com

  • Product listings, cart, checkout, order accounts, and related store pages on Shopify: spectra-therapy-2.myshopify.com

It does not cover third-party sites we link to, customer-uploaded content, or platform features we do not control.

2. Standard We Aim For

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Those guidelines are the common benchmark used under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for public-facing websites.

Wix and Shopify each maintain their own platform accessibility work. Shopify publishes an accessibility statement and VPATs for Admin, Checkout, and themes (see https://www.shopify.com/accessibility). Wix publishes platform guidance and an Accessibility Wizard for site owners (see Wix Help Center: Accessibility). We are responsible for the content, media, apps, and theme settings we add on top of those platforms.

3. What We Do

On an ongoing basis we work to:

  • Use clear headings, readable fonts, and sufficient color contrast

  • Provide alternative text for meaningful images and avoid text embedded only in pictures

  • Keep a logical heading structure and reading order

  • Support keyboard navigation and visible focus on interactive controls we control

  • Label form fields and buttons in plain language

  • Avoid conveying information by color alone

  • Provide captions or transcripts for videos we publish

  • Run Wix’s Accessibility Wizard and fix items it flags on our Wix pages

  • Use an accessible Shopify theme and review product pages, cart, and checkout after theme or app changes

  • Review new pages, product photos, and apps before they go live

4. Known Limits

Some parts of the experience depend on Wix, Shopify, payment providers, shipping widgets, review apps, chat tools, or advertising pixels. Those vendors control their own code. We cannot guarantee that every third-party widget meets WCAG 2.2 AA at all times.

Older product photos, PDFs, or embedded media may not yet meet the same standard. If you hit a barrier, use the contact method below and we will provide the information another way (for example by email, phone, or an accessible file).

5. How to Request Help or Report a Barrier

If a page, product description, image, form, or checkout step is hard to use, contact us. Tell us the page URL, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you use if you know it.

We aim to respond within 2 business days and to provide a workable alternative as soon as we reasonably can. You may also request this policy in another format (large print, plain-text email, or accessible PDF).

6. Purchasing Assistance

If you cannot complete a purchase on the Shopify checkout, email or call us with the product name and shipping address. We will take the order by phone or email where we can do so securely. We sell only to U.S. residents and ship only to U.S. addresses.

7. Feedback and Updates

We review this policy when we change platforms, themes, or major site content, and at least once a year. The date at the top shows the last update.

Publishing this policy does not mean every page is fully conformant. It is our statement of intent and the way to reach us when something is not accessible
